Spiced Apple Snowball
1.5 oz Laird’s Apple Brandy
.5 oz Bénédictine D.O.M.
.75 oz Cinnamon Clove Syrup
.75 oz Lemon Juice
1 dash of Angostura Bitters
Snow
Stir all ingredients except snow in a mixing glass without ice.
Pour half of the cocktail in a coupe and pile fresh snow on top until you have a nice mound of unpacked snow above the rim of the glass.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and pour the rest of the drink over the snow mound.

Cinnamon Clove Syrup
Boil two cups of water with two broken up cinnamon sticks and 3-5 whole cloves until the water has reduced in half. Add one cup of sugar and stir until all sugar crystals have fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let sit until fully cool. Fine strain into a sealable glass container store in the fridge. It should last 4-6 weeks and can be fortified with a bit of vodka or everclear to last even longer.
