Western Slope
• 2 oz 10th Mountain Bourbon
• .75 oz Lemon Juice
• .25 oz 10th Mountain Alpenglow Cordial
• .5 oz Peach Sage Syrup
• .5 oz Egg Whites
• Combine all ingredients in a tin and dry shake
• Add one large chunk of ice and shake hard.
• Strain into Nick and Nora and garnish with single sage leaf

Peach Sage Syrup
Boil a cup of water with 6-8 fresh sage leaves until water reduces at least in half. Remove peel and pit from a ripe peach and blend with a bit of water. Fine strain and add to sage water. Let cook over medium heat for a 3-5 minutes and weigh. Add 1/2 that weight in sugar to the mixture and stir over low heat until all sugar crystals have dissolved. Fine strain into sealable glass container to be stored in the fridge once cooled.

Alpenglow Cordial
Is a sage Infused peach vanilla cordial from 10th Mountain Whiskey that leans heavy on the vanilla and caramel notes followed by peach and sage on the back end. It is very sweet and packs a lot of flavor, so I use a small amount to fortify the syrup and add some background flavors of baking spices.
