Whiskey Not So Sour

• 1.5 oz 10th Mountain Bourbon⁣
• .25 oz Yellow Chartreuse ⁣
• .25 oz Suze⁣
• .75 oz Lemon Juice⁣
• .25 oz Simple Syrup ⁣
• .5 oz Egg White⁣

• Combine all ingredients in tin and dry shake.⁣
• Add one large cube of ice and shake hard, double strain, and garnish with Angostura Bitters. ⁣

The Suze and Yellow Chartreuse bring bitter and herbal complexity to this classic, but they also have higher sugar content than whiskey and distinctive honey flavors so I dropped the simple syrup volume to keep the drink balanced.⁣
